This state of the art 3D mammography system offers greater precision and comfort than traditional mammograms, helping detect breast changes earlier and with more confidence. What Makes 3D Mammogram Different? Traditional mammogram: Captures two flat, 2D x-ray images of the breast. Sometimes overlapping breast tissue can hide small abnormalities. AMULET Sophinity Mammogram: Uses tomosynthesis to take multiple low-dose images from different angles. Reconstructs them into thin, detailed slices (like flipping through pages of a book). Reduces the problem of overlapping tissue, making it easier to spot even the smallest changes. Offers sharper clarity with lower radiation thanks to Fujifilm's advanced sensor technology. Preparation: Please do not apply any talcum powder or deodorant. Mammograms detect about 84% of breast cancers in women without symptoms.
