Chest X-Rays for Identita' / ID Malta

Chest X-Rays required by Jobs Plus and Identity Malta

Ta' Xbiex

Examination Description

We provide chest X-rays required as part of Malta work permit health screening for non-EU nationals, where applicable. Before attending your chest X-ray appointment, your employer or HR representative should start the health screening application online through expatriateshealthscreening.gov.mt. If a chest X-ray is required, you should first attend our clinic for the examination. After the X-ray is completed, we will provide you with a hardcopy & digital copy of the chest X-ray report. You must then take this report to a registered general practitioner (medical doctor). The GP will review your chest X-ray report, administer or verify any required vaccinations, complete the online health screening form, and upload the necessary documents through the official health screening system. Once the health screening is approved, the clearance notification is issued by the relevant authority and must be presented to Identità as proof of clearance. Please note that our radiology clinic only performs the chest X-ray examination. The online health screening application and medical document upload must be completed by a registered general practitioner (medical doctor), not by our radiologists - as stated on the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Directorate website. https://hpdp.gov.mt/idcu/work_permits_for_first_time_applicants
